Myers Park Charlotte North Carolina
Historic Myers Park in Charlotte
Yes, there are homes on the National Historic register… but today it is renovated Myers Park, a classic close-in Charlotte community, that locals have come to love.
Myers Park is set along wide boulevards, connected by Queens Road, with Carolinas Medical Center (hospital), Queens College, and Freedom Park
Carefully planned in the early part of the 20th century by noted land planner John Nolen with broad windy boulevards they planted the trees then that provide the wonderful canopy today, transforming a plantation to the Myers Park of today. Convenience plus… homes today start in the 600’s and go on up to the several million category.
Doctors- 5-10 minutes to either Carolinas Medical or Presbyterian Hospital- both are Myers Park “bookends” …lawyers and business elites like its proximity to Uptown- 10 minutes to Bank of America building from most of Myers Park- you can be anywhere Uptown in under 15 minutes, even in rush hour–and, it consistently out performs the excellent city wide sales and appreciation rates.
Enjoy the posts and topics, Myers Park is the green, Eastover in yellow, Dilworth in blue and Southpark in red.
