Charlotte NC Fall is beautiful in the Carolinas and in Dilworth, just south of Charlotte’s Uptown, arts an crafts style homes never looked so good! I’ll review Homes for Sale, Homes Sold and even a couple of specific Dilworth houses so you can see the range.
Dilworth was Charlotte’s very first suburb,
built with a trolley to connect it uptown, Dilworth boasts one of the largest collections of Craftsman style homes in the east. Popular with singles, a quality collection of condos round out the real estate. Many of Charlotte’s best restaurants are here, or in neighboring SouthEnd.

There are 26 Dilworth Homes for Sale for Under $400,000.
There are 25 Dilworth Homes for Sale for Under $600,000, but more than $400K.
There are 25 Dilworth Homes For Sale for Under $800,000, but more than $600K.
There are 30 Dilworth Homes for Sale for OVER $800,000.
In the last 90 days in Dilworth, there have been 21 sales, from $250,000 to $1,165,000, averaging $209/ per sf. The Cost per SF range is quite large from $117 sf for an inexpensive rehab (average is closer to 200/sf for rehabs) to 317 sf for a fully renovated home. size ranged from 950 sf to 3700 sft and Days on market (DOM) from 17-596.
Interestingly, last year for the same time period there were 21 homes sold in Dilworth- meaning I guess that the financial crisis and election in 2008 had little affect here. This is consistent with other major cities as home sales in the “inner core” have remained stable and more distant suburbs take the worst beating. Still, high inventories make this a Buyers market.
