The town of Waxhaw is growing so fast that there are strains on the resources in the area. The limited water and sewer resources were stretched to the limit in 2007, generating a sewer moratorium for new subdivisions. The continued growth in the area will depend upon how the town of Waxhaw decides to manage its resources in the coming year.
