Sounds like a good time to purchase. I know the push in my area for live/work units is growing. No one wants to commute for hours. - Ashley

As always, Terry, nice job detailing the specifics. It certainly doesn't look like there is a shortage of condos to choose from in Charlotte!!

Terry - did you see the great pub about Charlotte on the Wall Street Journal's "Developments" blog? It pointed out that Charlotte is one of the few cities that is still doing well in real estate prices.

No difference, our Uptown is most folks downtown, why? 2 reasons I know of...first, there is a small hill and rise at Trade and Tryon, our "Main" and "Main."

The other reason is geographic... the traditional suburbs of Charlotte were all to the south. Therefore, when you look at a map, "downtown" was Up from just about everywhere.

Thanks for stopping by.

Terry - Great article about Uptown Charlotte condos for sale. It sounds like housing is Uptown Charlotte is doing well. I really like the way you broke it down into price ranges. Make it easy to understand. By the way, what's the difference between downtown and uptown? --Bob
