Hmmm... "an impressive pool on the 7th floor with an outdoor grill area" Hard to imagine for a small town girl! Sounds like uptown Charlotte has some amazing condos!

There is a growing rental market and resort like feel at Lake Norman. I've heard of several folks with waterfront condos who rent them weekly~ and a major new resort style hotel is opening in a year or so with a new exit from the interstate to the lake.
Winters are mild. We get snow every 3-4 years, each winter we get about 3 weeks of what a northerner considers cold- highs in the 30's- 40's, lows at night in the teens. The 3 weeks is split up over December, January and February... the first 3 years here I did not wear a winter coat. Moved from the NYC area. Thanks for stopping by, love to help you in Charlotte!

Great website Terry! Tell me..are there any areas of Charlotte where there is a vacation rental market? We may be interested in the area if there is. What is the winter climate like?
