What is South Charlotte, where is it?
Why do so many families want to move to South Charlotte? Where do they move from?
South Charlotte begins just south of town in the historic suburbs of Myers Park and Dilworth, then expands in the pie shaped area bounded by I-77 and Rt 74, East Independence, south to, and a bit beyond Rt 485, meeting Union County in the south, South Carolina to the southwest. It includes the 2nd downtown area of Southpark, Ballantyne, Matthews, the Palisades area, and the NC side of Lake Wylie.
