It sounds like Del Webb’s Charlotte over 55 community is a gorgeous place to consider for Sun City Carolina Lakes! Considering the 1200 beautiful acres and full time activity director, the prices seem really agreeable!
These over 55 golf communities in Charolotte, North Carolina are an affordable price for boomers and seniors. And the wonderful N.C. weather should entice a few Canadians to consider a move south of the border as a second home! Hilary
Del Webb certainly knows the Senior Community. The prices in Charlotte seem especially favorable compared to many areas around the nation for the same amenities.

Terry - Del Webb builds a nice community and I agree with Paula those prices seem very good. Del Webb/Pulte has said they won’t build one here for another year but with the slow down in sales nation wide they may delay that. We do have two other communities for active adults in the area though. - Ashley

No, I know of few rentals, and none by the month. However- there a re plenty of folks who head north in the summer, so I’d try Craigs List for a rental. Never Know…
