Antiquity in Cornelius Makes Terry’s Top 10 Charlotte New Home Community List
Sales are brisk at Antiquity in Cornelius, a planned community of more than a 500 homes just coming out of the ground with one entrance in Cornelius, and the other in popular Davidson, NC, a mile or so to the north. More than 20 townhomes and 3 single family homes have gone under contract since the October 9 Grand Opening.
Antiquity children will go to well thought of Cornelius schools
the brand new Washam Elementary, Bailey Middle and North Mecklenburg High School.
Most communities will have to sell many more than 20 - 25 homes to make my Top Community list, but as you review the links, the pictures and plans, and you see the detail Cunnane and Meeting Street are willing to go to, you will come to agree that Antiquity in Cornelius rightfully deserves a place on my Top Ten New Home Community List! And they are working from a smart growth transit plan with a proposed train station at the front gate to take commuters to Charlotte.
Cornelius Appreciation Report:I compared the average cost per square foot for all properties sold over 3 years in the month of August. In 2005, Cornelius single family homes sold at 145/sf, in 2006 $155/sf and in 2007 $173/sf, 3 year appreciation of 19%!

Terry - Cyndee Haydon sent me by. Great looking houses in Cornelius. These houses look so different than the SW homes in my area. I love the breakdown by sf instead of just medium price.
